Ponts Alumni directory and privacy
The directory update season is in full swing. We're noticing a growing trend among our alumni to remove their personal information from our directory, particularly their phone numbers. While we fully understand and respect everyone's right to privacy, we would like to emphasize the importance of this information to our community and why we encourage you to keep it up to date in our directory.
- Strengthening your network : Our alumni association is a powerful network. By sharing your contact details, you facilitate connections between members. These connections can lead to professional opportunities, partnerships, mentorships and much more.
- Effective communication: In the event of important events, opportunities or news, we need reliable ways of contacting you. Phone numbers are often the quickest and most direct way.
- Mutual support: Our community is here to support each other. Whether it's for professional advice, personal support or simply to keep in touch, having up-to-date contact details makes this support easier.
- Confidentiality: We want to assure you that all information provided is strictly confidential and is only used within our alumni network. We do not share or sell your information to third parties. Access to the directory is reserved for active members of the association. You can also decide with whom you wish to share your information.
We understand that privacy is a major concern in today's digital world. However, we firmly believe that the benefits of sharing your details within our alumni community outweigh the potential risks. If you have any concerns or questions about how we manage your information, please don't hesitate to contact us: contact@ponts.org
Together, we can continue to build a strong, connected and supported alumni community. And make the difference with a professional social network like LinkedIn. Thank you for your cooperation!
