Conference theme:
"Entrepreneurship in the energy transition
The energy transition: a constraint or an opportunity?
According to the law on the energy transition for green growth (LTECV) published in the Journal Officiel on August 18, 2015, the energy transition aims to prepare for the post-oil era and to establish a robust and sustainable energy model in the face of energy supply challenges, price trends, resource depletion and environmental protection imperatives.
Of course, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40% between 1990 and 2030 and dividing greenhouse gas emissions by 4 between 1990 and 2050 would appear to be real challenges for France, not to say constraints for existing manufacturers.
However, we see the announced energy transition as a tremendous opportunity, with over 200.000 new jobs will have been created by 2030, and GDP should benefit from the efforts made by 0.8% in 2020 and 1.5% in 2030.
So, constraint or opportunity?
We've chosen to give the floor to 4 entrepreneurs, who will each tell us, in their own way, how they intend to contribute to the project:
Speakers:
Kawrantin Roudaut is the founder of GLAZ-ENR, an independent company specializing in the brokerage of turnkey photovoltaic solutions, acting as a facilitator between landowners and solar plant developers. GLAZ-ENR's mission is to help companies build customized solar projects for self-consumption and resale of clean energy, in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way.
Kawrantin is an Ingénieur des Mines de Paris, and holds an MBA from Laval University in Canada. He has 6 years' experience in renewable energies. https://glaz-enr.com/
Corinne Bach is co-founder of CARBOMETRIX, a young company created in 2020 out of the desire to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by leveraging financial institutions. CARBOMETRIX helps investors, banks and lenders and the companies they finance to assess and improve their carbon performance with solutions for calculating, benchmarking and tracking greenhouse gas emission trajectories.
Corinne is an alumnus of l'X and Télécom Paris, as well as INSEAD's MBA, and has some twenty years' experience, half in the internet and telecoms sector and half in the media sector.experience, half in the Internet and telecoms sector and half in the media sector.h ttps://carbometrix.com/fr
Joseph Hermet is co-founder of KLIMA SCHOOL, the first business school dedicated to the energy transition. KLIMA SCHOOL's mission is to turn "climate-conscious" students into young professionals trained in business and climate issues, ready to contribute to the climate transition. The aim of this school, which offers 3 or 5 years of higher education, is to bring the next generation into the sector that is currently experiencing the greatest traction: the ecological and energy transition.
Joseph holds an ESTP engineering degree and an MBA from ESCP, and previously spent 8 years in the private equity sector. https://www. klimaschool.com/
Chloé Clair is CEO of NAM.R.,a company founded in 2017 that produces data around the energy performance of buildings and associated renovation potential: using open data, she produces premium, enriched and interoperable data to better equip the public sector (with large energy renovation maps in particular), insurers (by better assessing the risk of a house), banks (by characterizing their home loan portfolios). The entry point for all these players is geolocation: based on an address, NamR's platform offers a diagnosis (energy, solar potential, risk of drought, etc.), a list of possible solutions for renovating or renovating the property, and a list of all the options available.), a list of possible mitigation solutions and, above all, recommendations for action to maximize the € spent in terms of energy efficiency or adaptation potential, enabling the user to take action by guiding him or her.
Chloé is an alumnus of L'X and Les Ponts, and holds a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a DPLG diploma in architecture. She has some fifteen years' experience in the construction sector, mainly in international markets. https://namr. com/fr/
