He was previously Director of the Oceanography and Ecosystem Dynamics Department, after serving at the Agence des Aires Marines Protégées and SHOM.
-15h00-17h30: We'll be getting to know this Laboratory, its challenges and its results, in the Anita Conti amphitheatre. There will be a presentation of LOPS by Jérome Paillet, and talks followed by exchanges with five of our comrades (Arthur Avenas , PhD student, Jean-Baptiste Roustan, doctoral student, Aurélien Ponte, Ifremer researcher, Xavier Carton, UBO professor, Bruno Blanke, CNRS research director ( the latter to be confirmed). A real opportunity to better understand sea level rise, ocean expansion, temperature, salinity, currents, vortices, swells, etc.
- 6.30pm: Meet at the Monument Café in Moulin Blanc, for a friendly themed drink with a welcome from Yann-Herve and Brian.
- 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm: We've invited Olivier Laroussinie to come and talk to us about maritime planning, and its topicality at a time of public debate on offshore wind power, with 45 GW of installed capacity announced for 2050, and the stakes involved. The pressure on the natural environment and the balance of power between users will evolve, and the necessary public debate has new resources at its disposal, on an unprecedented scale. Olivier will give us a few keys to understanding the situation and answer our questions. Ingénieur Général des Ponts, Olivier Laroussinie is Director of Maritime Planning and Major Projects at Cerema, having previously been Delegate for the Sea and Coastline at MTES, and previously Director of the French Marine Protected Areas Agency.
- Around 8:30 p.m.: free dinner possible on site, for those who wish, under the supervision of Yann-Hervé
For questions about lunch: Gilbert Le Lann
Registration for lunch includes a visit to CEDRE, so please let us know if you are unavailable for lunch.
