About the event

Following the annual " Mise en Lumière pour le Climat " round-table on COP28 and its implications for business,ACADI, C3D and the Société d'Encouragement pour l'Industrie Nationale invite Fabrice Bonnifet and Guillaume Poitrinal to explore the ways and means they recommend to move towards an economy and prosperity that respect planetary limits.

Growth, degrowth, post-growth, a-croissance.... is this really the subject?

• Acknowledging the urgency of climate change calls on us to transform our model of society and our relationship with economic growth.
• Can the economy grow ad infinitum while exerting unbearable pressure on natural resources and ecosystems?
• The issue is no longer to choose between growth and degrowth, but to define what we really need.

Associated with this event is a panel of students and young professionals who will prepare the debate and help to lead it, with moderators Muriel Barnéoud and Sylvianne Villaudière.
