"Agrivoltaics in France: between energy production and soil protection".

Against a backdrop of tension over energy supply and the need to deploy low-carbon energies, agrivoltaics presents itself as an innovative solution aimed at reconciling agricultural production and energy production. But there are a number of questions to be asked: What impact will this have on agricultural production and soil fertility? How is the balance between energy and agriculture achieved on a day-to-day basis? Where does France stand and where are we heading in the deployment of agrivoltaics?

We invite you to a conference to discover the world of agrivoltaics, followed by a participatory debate between the speakers and the audience. On the program for this event, which will be held face-to-face and remotely:

Nathanaël Kasriel, Deputy General Manager at Sun Agri. He will give us an introduction to agrivoltaics, key figures and the interest in the sector.
Violaine Tarizzo, Renewable Energies, Planning and Industry Sector Advisor, French Ministry of Energy. She will introduce us to the regulatory framework for agrivoltaics, as well as the sector's ambitions for the coming years.
Jonas Dubois, Head of cultivation at Solaspres. He will share his experience of operating an agrivoltaics project in a vineyard.
Followed by a debate with the three speakers below and Pierre-Yves Simonin, breeder, farmer and President of Coopérative Agricole Lorraine.
