Ponts Industrie conference: towards a revival of the metallurgical and mining sector in France?

On September 16 at 7pm, we'll be delighted to welcome Bruno Jacquemin, General Delegate of the Association des Minerais, Minéraux et Métaux, and Maxime Lazard, Deputy General Delegate for Industrial Affairs.

  • What is the state of the sector in France? Who are the main players?
  • Is it currently easy to mine minerals and metals in our country? If not, what could be improved (regulatory framework, public information, energy costs, etc.)?
  • How is France positioned in the race for metals and materials critical to the energy transition? For defense? What about batteries, wind turbines, the components needed for energy-efficient building renovation, etc.?
  • What are the main innovations in the sector at present? In particular, what is the sector's plan to decarbonize?
  • Profiles sought in this industry?

Here are just a few of the questions we're looking forward to asking.
