Conference theme:
"The impact of Green Deal regulations and requirements on SMEs:
how best to prepare"
In 2019, the European Union adopted the Green Pact. The objective is clear: to make Europe the first continent to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
To meet this challenge, all of society's activities are concerned: transport, energy, industry, agriculture, investments geared towards this objective...
The new CRSD regulations support this objective in terms of financial reporting, giving companies a more precise external view of the risks they face, and helping them to better prepare for them.
SMEs and start-ups will be directly affected by this new regulatory ecosystem:
- By the changes demanded of their business
- By the orientation of financial flows
- By their principals, who will demand compliance from their partners
- By the requirement for listed SMEs to provide extra-financial reporting.
How can we best prepare for these changes? Can we take advantage of them to exploit new sources of value or improve our positioning in the competitive landscape?
In this session, we'll try to understand the implications of these changes for SMEs, and how to respond to them.
Participants in the round table, which will be moderated by Caline Jacono of the "Accompaniment" group, will include :
- A representative of Wind Capital, an SME investment fund
- A representative of the public authorities / BPI
- Carole Davies-Filleur, founder of Archery Sustainability and former Managing Director Sustainability at Accenture, specializing in CSR for companies.
