Session of the Club Oenologie des Ponts : Châteauneuf du Pape, the mythical wine

Châteauneuf du Pape has been a celebrated wine since the Popes came to Avignon in the 14th century. During the Roaring Twenties, it was so envied that it justified the creation of the Appellations Contrôlées.

Today, everyone knows about Châteauneuf, but we don't drink it very often. Around a few historic estates, the vineyards have been largely rebuilt since the 2000s with a new generation of growers.

I'd like to take a look at these outstanding wines, both red and white.
