Conference theme:

"Creating a company in industrial deeptech".

The French authorities have launched a number of initiatives to promote technological innovation (Bourse French tech, Innov-up, i-Lab competition, Plan Génération Deeptech, etc.) and the development of cutting-edge industrial projects (France relance, PIA, etc.).

Bpifrance plays a key role in implementing all these initiatives. Victor Perrin-Turenne, in charge of innovation at Bpifrance, is honored to present BPI's approach to deeptech. He will explain the various financing and support initiatives it offers.

Deeptech is all about cutting-edge technology. Industrial deeptech differs from digital deeptech.

To arrive at a marketable end product, projects need to be taken seriously by passionate entrepreneurs.

We asked 3 entrepreneurs to present their projects. They all operate in the field of advanced industrial technology applied to the healthcare sector. All their projects involve machines and automata, often with a significant software development component. They will share with us their experiences as creators.

Speakers:

Sophie Bourzeix is CEO and co-founder of HEKAT, a brand-new company set up in 2023, which is developing a disruptive instrument based on microfluidic and optical technologies for the individual detection, counting and high-speed sorting of nano-sized biological objects (viruses, exosomes, etc.).tecting, counting and sorting biological nano-objects (viruses, exosomes...) at high speed according to information-carrying criteria.

Sophie is an alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a doctorate in quantum physics. She has industrial experience in the field of instrumentation, in a context of strong growth. https://www.hekat.com.

Frédéric Gouze, as CEO, created and developed BMS, a company which took over and then developed a project for an automated pulsatile extracorporeal blood circulation system.

Based on research carried out at the Hôpital de la Pitié-Salpetrière and the CHU de Dijon, among others, it has been shown that pulsatile circulation demonstrated that pulsatile circulation enables better tolerance and recovery during post-operative phases. Survival rates are increased, post-traumatic sequelae are reduced, and therapeutic applications are broadened.

Frédéric is an HEI engineer with additional training at HEC (Paris) and Wharton (PA), and is the head of a consulting firm specializing in industrialization support in all sectors, especially aeronautics and space.

Didier Launay, will present the DAMAVAN Santé project to develop the application of a breakthrough technology in Gamma-ray imaging to nuclear medicine.

The aim of the DAMAVAN Santé project, in which Didier is taking part, is to complement technologies already developed for the nuclear industry.nuclear industry, to develop a precise and manageable imager for the development of customized nuclear medicine.

Didier is an Ingénieur Civil des Mines and holds a doctorate in economics, as well as a master's degree and a DEA in pure mathematics. A specialist in financial engineering, Didier is a company founder and co-chair of the XMP Entrepreneur Club.

Victor holds a master's degree in physics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, and subsequently worked in an innovation financing consultancy before joining Bpifrance.
