On October 16, Ponts Industrie will welcome Jean-Baptiste Fayet, Terreal's Managing Director for France.

Terreal is a specialist manufacturer of roofing, structural, solar and facade-decoration products for buildings in France and abroad. The company, founded one hundred and fifty years ago, is the result of the merger of three French tile and brick manufacturers. It employs 3,400 people in 33 industrial facilities worldwide: France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, the United States and Poland.
Sales total 884 million euros.

At the conference, we'll be curious to discover Terreal's history, products and markets, and to learn more about the company's industrial production and innovation capabilities. Our discussion will also focus on how the company is taking its place in the great movement of energy transition for buildings.

Jean-Baptiste Fayet holds a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1999 - 2000). Prior to that, he trained at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1997 - 1999) and the Ecole Polytechnique (1994 - 1997).

He began his professional career in 2000 with the Boston Consulting Group in Paris as a Senior Associate Consultant. In 2002, he joined TERREAL as Managing Director Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a position he held for 10 years. He returned to France in 2012 to head TERREAL's National Sales Division. He was appointed Roofing Sales Director in 2013. Today, Jean-Baptiste Fayet is Managing Director for France, in charge of sales and marketing activities for TERREAL's 4 businesses (Roofing, Solar, Structure, Facade & Decoration).
