"Where do we stand with chemical carbon capture and its role in decarbonization? "
After the webinar with Jean Pierre Deflandre from IFPEN on the state of the art of carbon dioxide sequestration in geological strata, which took place in October 2021 (video link available),
we offer you an overview of techniques for capturing carbon dioxide in industrial flue gases and ambient air, and the role that CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS) can play in decarbonizing the economy, with the expertise of our two guests:
- Florent Guillou, from IFPEN, will give an overview ofCO2 capture technologies.
- Aurélie Picart, from the Comité Stratégique de Filière des Nouveaux Systèmes Energétiques, will talk about the CCS sector's contribution to decarbonization .
The webinar will be moderated by Guillaume de Smedt, Deputy Vice-President, Sustainable Development, Air Liquide, and member of the Board of Directors of X Environnement.
