In January 2022, the XMP Letter dedicated to the automotive industry and new forms of mobility highlighted the real revolutions that are set to hit this vital sector of the economy in the coming years: new uses, regulations as drastic as they are numerous, multiple technological breakthroughs, upheaval of value chains, but also shortages of raw materials, with cascading social impacts. At precisely the same time, the SIA (Société des Ingénieurs de l'Automobile) produced a White Paper analyzing the impact of the transition from the automobile to mobility on the skills that will be crucial to industry and research in the future.
