Industry Rendezvous

Our comrade Antoine Frérot, CEO of Veolia (IPC 82), is the guest at our Rendezvous Industrie on September 16.

In a world that is gradually getting used to living with the coronavirus, but whose industrial structures are nonetheless being turned upside down, Mr. Frérot will share with us his thoughts on the new place of industry in France and Europe:

What role does industry play in Véolia's strategy? Why is it important?
How can France reindustrialize? With what priority measures? In which sectors?
Aren't the EU's high environmental standards a brake on international industrial competition? Or can we take advantage of them to gain a competitive edge?
Is reindustrialization desirable, or can we thrive in an increasingly service-based economy?

In the course of this discussion, Mr. Frérot will certainly not fail to touch on themes that are also close to his heart, such as the extra-economic mission (social, environmental...) of the company and his attachment to the Ecole des Ponts.
