Thierry Dallard, Chairman of the Executive Board of Société du Grand Paris, will be the guest at the next dinner of the Transports group.

Thierry Dallard holds a degree from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (1987), a PhD in fluid mechanics from the University of Paris VI - Pierre et Marie Curie (1991) and a diploma from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (1994). He began his career (1992-1993) as a consultant on high-speed rail projects in Italy, before joining the Ministry of Transport in 1994 as head of the infrastructure and transport department at the Centre d'études techniques de l'équipement in Aix-en-Provence. In 1999, he was appointed head of the transport and infrastructure department of the Bouches-du-Rhône departmental directorate of equipment. In 2003, he was appointed Director of Development at Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF), and in 2004 was put in charge of implementing the de-centralization and reform of the DDE.centralization and reform of the DDEs, followed by the creation of the new project management departments within the Direction Générale des Routes. Until 2018, he was Director of Development France for Meridiam, a French investment fund specializing in the development and private financing of public infrastructure. He was also President of the Union des ingénieurs du corps des ponts des eaux et des forêts (UnIPEF) from 2012 to 2018.
