PROGRAM

- 4:00 pm: French Tech Seed by Bruno Rostand, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at PSL (Université Paris Sciences et Lettres).

The 400 million euro French Tech Seed investment fund, part of the Future Investment Program and operated by Bpifrance, is designed to support technology start-ups in the post-maturation phase, particularly Deep Tech start-ups less than 3 years old.

The originality of the French Tech Seed fund is based on a mechanism of accredited prescribers and a leverage effect on private investment. These accredited prescribers or business introducers will guarantee the technological nature of the company, while private investors will guarantee its development potential. Companies whose technology has been validated by the prescribers and who benefit from private investment will thus be able to obtain convertible bond financing from Bpifrance, up to two times the amount of the financing round.

The consortium, led by PSL Tech Seed, has been accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. In addition to PSL, it includes Chimie Paris Tech, ESPCI Paris, Institut Curie, Ecole des Mines Paris Tech, Paris Dauphine and Institut Pasteur.

Bruno Rostand, Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at PSL, will present the consortium, for which Business Angels will be one of the main private financiers.
