A leading figure in Parisian politics, Jean-Louis Missika joined City Hall in 2008 under Bertrand Delanoë as Deputy Mayor in charge of research, innovation and universities. He led a number of initiatives to promote the development of Paris's entrepreneurial fabric. With the election of Anne Hidalgo, Jean-Louis Missika was given additional responsibilities for urban planning and architecture in Paris.architecture of Paris, giving this dynamic of innovation an urban dimension that he concretized with the "Réinventer Paris" call for projects.
