Our comrade Laurent PROBST, Managing Director of Ile-de-France Mobilités, will be the guest at the next dinner of the Transports group.

Laurent Probst is Ingénieur en chef des Ponts, Eaux et Forêts, a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics.
During more than ten years working for the French government in the transport sector, Laurent Probst specialized in financing issues, first as head of the Infrastructure Financing Mission, then as head of the Public-Private Partnerships Expertise Mission, and finally as Deputy Director of Autoroutes Concédées.
He was also an advisor to Valérie Pécresse for over three years, firstly as advisor for financial and real estate affairs at the French Ministry of Education, and then as advisor for the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry.He was also advisor to Valérie Pécresse for more than three years, first as advisor on financial and real estate affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, then as deputy director of the cabinet responsible for State reform at the Ministry of the Budget.
Laurent Probst is leading a number of projects concerning transport in the Paris region, including the digital transformation of ticketing (end of ticketing by 2021), the massive renewal of rail and bus rolling stock, the renegotiation of contracts with SNCF and RATP, and the introduction of competitive tendering for public transport in the Ile-de-France region.
