There were 17 of us to meet up again after forty years, and it didn't take long for the happy atmosphere of the rue des Saint Pères to return. It was an opportunity to rekindle our common memories, but also to share our professional experiences, our family histories and our lives over these 40 years. We traveled extensively in Belgium, Germany, Egypt and even Iran. The atmosphere was truly family-like, thanks to the presence of our spouses Hervé Gay, Caroline Schiratti and Claire Bizien. We regretted the absence of Sylvie Valentin, who was unable to attend at the last minute. We promised ourselves that we wouldn't wait for forty years to see each other again, and in the meantime we'll try to widen the circle and, why not, reconnect with our "long-lost" comrades. Many thanks to the Ponts Alumni team for putting the magnificent Maison des Ponts at our disposal and for organizing this wonderful evening. Best regards to all, Jean-Christophe and Marc
