Presentation

The Saints-Péres' Band is a non-profit musical association. Fanfare The Saints-Pères'Band was founded in 1991 by students at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (later Ecole des Ponts ParisTech) in Paris.

As one of the Ecole's many student clubs, it soon made a name for itself: as early as June 1991, it organized the first Nuit des fanfares, a major student event that introduced Parisian students to French and foreign brass bands. After a short break-in period, the band won its first contracts in 1993, which it renewed in subsequent years: it played at the French Student Sailing Cup Final (La Baule, La Trinité sur Mer) and in ski resorts, both at the foot of the slopes and in high-altitude restaurants (Serre-Chevalier, Les Arcs, Les 2 Alpes).

The group soon took part in various festivals and concerts in France and Europe: Millau brass band festival (Aveyron), Leeds and Newcastle (England), Dortmund (Germany), opening act for the Jazz Portal quartet Sclavis Texier Drouet in Marne-la-Vallée, Festival du Rire de Bourg-la-Reine.
