International Bridges :
-> enables members to get together regularly for a convivial, structured networking event with other "international" networks from major foreign schools and/or universities. The event is usually introduced by a fellow member, who shares his or her international experience for 20 minutes on a subject close to his or her heart,
-> co-organizes with the "international" groups of other grandes écoles (such as X, Mines, Telecom, Centrale, Supelec, HEC, Agro, Arts et Métiers, Chimie Paris, etc.) themed evenings and/or with a country focus to better understand the geopolitical and strategic stakes of a given zone,
-> involves its active members in building and maintaining links with Ponts Alliance's international geographic groups (whose presidents/leaders are by default members of the Ponts International leadership team) and with ParisTech Alumni (PTA)* geographic coordinations worldwide,
-> Æ-> relays useful information to members and publishes the Ponts Alliance international newsletter : international" events organized by other grandes écoles or French chapters of major foreign universities, information from Ponts Alliance international geographic groups, PTA or qualified sources such as the ParisTech Review, etc.
Membership of the Ponts International group is reserved for former (and future...) graduates of Les Ponts, and the current breakdown of our membership in terms of educational background is as follows: approx. 10% corpsards, 50% civilians, 5% PhDs, 20% MBAs and 15% specialized/professional masters.
Let's work together to promote international relations and exchanges of experience, and to support the development of our respective business activities worldwide!
*) ParisTech Alumni (PTA) coordinates the alumni associations of the 12 grandes écoles of the ParisTech PRES (AGRO, Arts et Métiers, Chimie Paris, Ponts et Chaussées, Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE, ENSTA, ESPCI, HEC, Institut d'Optique, MINES, Telecom), bringing together nearly 200.000 alumni worldwide. PTA boasts an international network with a presence in nearly 50 countries.
