Visit to the last tunnel boring machine on Line 18
of the Grand Paris Express

Program

- Arrival at 8:30 am at Versailles Chantiers station

- 8:30 am - 9:00 am coffee

- 9:00 am departure from Versailles Chantiers to Saint Quentin by carpool (30 min journey - possibility of 2 cars on SGP side)

- 9h30-9h45 wearing of PPE and presentation of the project in the meeting room

1 - Presentation of Line 18 of the Grand Paris Express and its special features: underground structures, overhead structures (viaducts) & 3rd rail.

2 - Presentation of the entire project : interface between vertical works (ancillary structures) and linear works in harmony with the TBM.

3 - Technical presentation of the TBM: with a specialist from the company (SPIE) to explain the technical particularities of this type of structure.

- 9h45-11h visit of the TBM

- 11h-11h30 back to the room for Q&A and PPE removal

- 11:30am-12pm return to Versailles Chantiers station by car pooling

- 12pm possibility of lunch in a nearby restaurant.
