On June 22, 2008, Gilles Pélisson inaugurated the first GEF breakfast in his capacity as Director and CEO of Accor, emphasizing the complementary nature of talent and the virtues of positive discrimination. Ten years on, he's back to talk about the issues that are close to our hearts.

A graduate of ESSEC business school and Harvard MBA, Gilles Pélisson moved to the United States to work for Société Générale, followed by his first experience with Accor, which took him from New York to Paris, via Los Angeles and the Asia-Pacific region. In 1995, he joined Euro Disney, where he became CEO in 1997, before moving into telecoms via Suez and above all Bouygues Telecom, where he became CEO in 2004. In 2006, he returned to head up the Accor Group.

Since his appointment as head of TF1 in February 2016, Gilles Pélisson has been working to optimize the complementarities between the main channel and the group's other channels. His major objective is to reconnect the Group with digital through innovative programs and services designed to reach a wider target, particularly those of millienials.

Our Breakfasts are open to anyone interested in gender issues, whatever their school, university or studies. Our events are also open to men, who need to be involved.

A breakfast buffet will be open from 8am. Discussions will start at 8.30 a.m. sharp and finish at 10 a.m. We look forward to welcoming many of you.

Proper attire is required to enter the Cercle: a tie for men and no jeans for either men or women.
