[Info-Réseau] Breakfast with Pascal Demurger, Chief Executive Officer of the MAIF Group
Grandes Écoles au Féminin is pleased to invite you to
a breakfast debate with
Pascal DEMURGER
Managing Director, MAIF Group
"The individual at work and the place of gender diversity".
BREAKFAST organized in partnership withENGIE
A former ENA graduate, Pascal Demurger joined MAIF in 2002 from the budget department of the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance. He held a number of different positions before taking over as head of the Group in 2009.
Elected chairman of the Groupement des Entreprises Mutuelles d'Assurance (GEMA) in 2014, he is also working to build the Fédération Française de l'Assurance, of which he has been vice-chairman since its creation in 2016 and until July 2019. He is also the first president of the Association des Assureurs Mutualistes, founded the same year.
A committed executive, he believes that companies must assume their responsibilities beyond themselves and take care of their impact on the environment. In June 2019, he will publish L'entreprise du XXIè siècle sera politique ou ne sera plus (Editions de l'aube) , in which he shares this conviction and his experience in building an original business model over the past 12 years as head of MAIF.
In January 2022, he published a report, in partnership with the Fondation Jean Jaurès, in which he put forward 12 proposals to encourage, but not force, every company to commit to the ecological and social transition.
During this breakfast, Pascal Demurger will speak on the subject of the individual at work, notably through what MAIF calls management by trust, and on the company's commitment to the common good. He will also give specific examples of his group's exemplary gender diversity policy.
