Videoconference with Nicolas Meilhan: "What are the prospects for electric vehicles?

organized by the Ponts Industrie and Ponts Transition Ecologique trade groups

On April 6, we'll welcome electric vehicle expert Nicolas Meilhan, who will talk about the challenges facing this type of transport and its development in Europe:

  • What are the growth prospects for electric vehicles in France and Europe?
  • Will it be easy for motorists to adopt this new type of motorization?
  • Will recharging infrastructures keep pace with the spread of this technology?
  • Are electric vehicles and autonomous driving closely linked?
  • What are the government's support plans?
  • Is the electric vehicle an opportunity for the reindustrialization of our country?

After studying engineering at ESTP and MIT, Nicolas began his professional career as a crash engineer in the automotive sector, before becoming a strategy consultant in the transport and energy sectors.

His main areas of expertise are electric cars, the mobility of the future, the energy of the future and the growing scarcity of resources - fossil fuels and metals.

Nicolas is a regular contributor to several think-tanks on energy transition. He has been a scientific advisor to France Stratégie and is currently Senior Advisor to EV Volumes. He is also a member of Les Econoclastes.

The exchange will take place by videoconference, from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday April 6.

An e-mail with the zoom connection link will be sent to registrants the day before the event.
