Europe's largest solid-wood, ultra-low-carbon office campus

February 7 at 11 a.m.

Construction of these 125,000 m² of better-than-home solid wood office space began in 2020, with a vision radically ahead of its time, focused on the quality of the spaces on offer and environmental performance. The complex was inaugurated in September 2024, by French President Emmanuel Macron.

These offices, nestled in the heart of a 19-hectare park, a well of biodiversity connected to the Seine, also include a 6-hectare private green park. 1,000 trees of rare and varied species have been planted, and a vegetable garden supplies one of the 7 restaurants available to occupants.

These offices, where solid wood is visible everywhere, with large work surfaces designed to encourage meetings and exchanges, offer a new vision of the workplace, which must resolutely be a space for living and well-being, better than at home. The possibility of working outdoors is also offered, with equipped, connected terraces, outdoor staircases linking all spaces and people, and a WIFI connection that works throughout the private park. Accompanying this vision is an unrivalled sports offer, with 2,000 m² of dedicated space operated by Arkose (climbing, fitness, group classes, restaurant and bar / open 7/7 from 7 a.m. to midnight) and 40 km of trails along the Seine for running and cycling. In addition, Comet operates a 2,500 m² conference and seminar center in a renovated former paper mill.

This ultra-ambitious environmental project, carried out by WO2, the No. 1 developer of low-carbon offices (BBCA 2024 rating), has a carbon footprint half that of a traditional building, from construction to operation, thanks in particular to its wood structure and the 9 geothermal wells designed from the outset of the project.

The Arboretum team will be delighted to show you around these offices in an exceptional environment, made of structural wood left visible and offering volumes and natural light, located 15 minutes from the Étoile.

The campus is located in the Paris La Défense area, 15 minutes from the Étoile and just 2 to 3 minutes from the major users of La Défense, thanks to the RER A, the Transilien L and the RATP bus at the foot of the campus, which takes 10 minutes to reach the new RER Éole station at Nanterre La Folie.
