Visit to the Nantes cité administrative building site

Thursday May 30, 10am-12pm

The new cité administrative in Nantes is designed to bring together several government departments, including CEREMA, in a single location, with a total of 750 workstations, a 1,200-seat restaurant and 15,000 m² of floor space.

It symbolizes the French government's real-estate policy: adaptability, modularity and low tech for a high level of performance, E3 in energy, C2 in carbon, reduced energy consumption, less than 50% of the regulatory consumption allowance, a high level of lighting autonomy and guaranteed summer comfort for all offices, with no technical systems and numerous innovations.

It will be designed and built in 30 months, for delivery in summer 2024. Bouygues Bâtiment's commitment covers 5 years of maintenance and consumption control.

The 2-hour tour will be followed by lunch.

Places are limited to 20 participants.

Jacques Larrignon, who graduated from ENPC in 1983, has over 40 years' experience in the construction of complex buildings such as hospitals, stadiums, universities, high schools, colleges, tertiary sector, military, police, justice and museums. He has worked with numerous architectural and engineering firms. He has focused on projects where the stakes are high in terms of controlling light, energy and decarbonization, particularly with regard to changes in materials, and controlling investment, operating, maintenance and upkeep costs, while preserving the building's usability and occupant comfort levels. Such is the case of the Nantes CAE, designed with Bruno Gaudin, EGIS, Indigo and Advenio, which he is delighted to show you around.
