In 2024, Paris and the Seine-Saint-Denis region will host most of the Olympic and Paralympic Games competitions, with the ambition of leaving a legacy for the people after the Games.

One of the first projects to get underway is the Athletes' Village. Located in the communes of Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine and L'Ile-Saint-Denis, this new district will be home to some 15,000 athletes and their support staff.

From the first deconstruction work at the end of 2019 through to handover in 2024, this tour will enable you to follow the progress of this gigantic 51-hectare construction site being completed in record time! You'll discover an urban project created to welcome new residents in 2025, and adapted in 2024 for the athletes. Comprising residential and office buildings, facilities, services and local shops, and enhanced by generous green spacesclose to public transport and the Seine, the Athletes' Village is set in the middle of an existing neighborhood. Traces of the industrial past of the Pleyel district of Saint-Denis will be preserved and rehabilitated, and future buildings will meet high environmental standards.
