Ponts Industrie Conference: "France's Hydrogen Program for Industry

Organised by "Industry Group (French)"

On February 6, Mr Lionel Prévors, head of the Hydrogen project at the French Ministry of Energy's Directorate General for Energy and Climate, will address our Ponts Industrie group.

  • What is France's Hydrogen strategy?
  • Which sectors are involved? In particular, which projects concern industry?
  • Are there industrial sectors in which hydrogen is practically the only alternative to fossil fuels?
  • What production technologies will be used? Could nuclear power be used to produce carbon-free hydrogen? Will part of the hydrogen be imported?
  • How will public support materialize?
  • How does the French plan compare with the ambitions of other European and global countries?

These are just some of the questions we'll be able to put to Mr. Prévors during this evening, which will consist of an hour-long discussion, followed by a cocktail reception.

Venue: Maison des Ponts (Paris XVIè) or by distance learning
