Muriel PENICAUD has had a rich and original career in both the private and public sectors. She is currently Ambassador, Permanent Representative of France to the OECD. She is in charge of the International Program for Climate Action.

From May 2017 to July 2020, she was Minister of Labor and led several structural reforms such as the reform of the Labor Code to strengthen social dialogue. She also introduced a right to lifelong training for all workers through a personal training account, accessible via an app. She had the difficult task of setting up the short-time working system at the start of the COVID pandemic.

For women, she is behind a major initiative: the Professional Equality Index. She is also a member of the Global Summit of Women.

From 2014 to 2017, Muriel Pénicaud was Director General of Business France.

Prior to this, she held senior management positions in international companies such as Danone and Dassault.

She is also the author of a book entitled "Pousser les Murs" (Pushing Back the Walls): a plea for citizen mobilization to meet the formidable challenges facing our world: gender equality, ecological transition, employment and the emancipation of young people. His method for ensuring that everyone finds their place and expresses their talents in society: consultation, presence in the field, social and economic dialogue.

A positive, solution-oriented woman driven by a real sense of collective interest.

Our Breakfasts are open to anyone interested in gender issues, whatever their school, university or studies. Our events are open to men, who need to be involved.

A buffet breakfast will be available from 8am at the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée, 33 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris. Discussions will start at 8.30 a.m. sharp and finish at 10 a.m. We hope to welcome many of you, and ask that you dress appropriately to enter the Cercle: a tie for men, and no jeans for either men or women .

Registration is compulsory and can only be made by online payment (if you wish to have a receipt, please tick the appropriate box).
