A fun, collaborative and creative workshop to understand climate change
organized by the Ponts Transition Ecologique group and the Rhône-Alpesgroup
and led by alumni eager to help you discover this remarkable tool.

Participants welcome from 2:30pm, starting at 3pm sharp.
The workshop will be followed by a convivial aperitif.
COP26 is taking place right now, bringing together representatives from many of the world's countries in an attempt to reach a new global agreement on the fight against global warming. Yet it has to be said that previous COPs have so far failed to have the desired effect on global greenhouse gas emissions. In parallel with these geopolitical negotiations, citizens can feel overwhelmed by climate issues, the mechanisms of which they don't always understand.
La Fresque du Climat, created and developed in France, is an educational game designed to help as many people as possible understand the mechanisms of climate change, based on the work of the IPCC. In just 3 hours, it mobilizes collective intelligence to first demystify the workings of the climate system, and then to mobilize the creativity and thinking of each and every individual to sketch out a plan of action.
The Climate Fresco, which will be present at COP26, has already helped to educate 200,000 people about climate issues. More and more business and engineering schools, including Les Ponts, have incorporated it into their curricula. It is also being widely adopted by companies of all sizes. EDF, for example, has set itself the goal of getting all its 165,000 employees to play the game.
