Club Oenologie des Ponts : The great rosés of France
Rosé, once shunned, is back in the spotlight. In the midst of a sea of uninteresting beach wines, there are a number of fine wines that deserve a place in our cellars and on our tables.
To kick off the new season in style, I'd like to invite you to explore some of France's finest rosés.
We'll be tasting some of the historic figures of this type of wine, as well as some newcomers who have taken it upon themselves to add a new specialty to their catalog.
I hope you'll come to realize that, even for discerning oenophiles like yourselves, a great rosé deserves respect.
